I first met Prince Rich during my second week in Grecia, Costa Rica, through a mutual friend at Café Delicias in the town center of Grecia. I met with a friend over coffee, mapping out details for her upcoming birthday party video presentation, when Prince walked through the door, laptop in hand, and sat at a nearby table. I had heard the name before spoken about around Grecia, but we’d never met. He’s very popular both among expats and Ticos in the local area, and later, I’d often bump into him on the local bus heading to the town center of Grecia. Prince runs a very successful business under Rich Technology Group (RTG), specializing in business phone systems, internet, and wireless services, worldwide and is a star in the YouTube universe. He’s a family man, married to the beautiful Nadine Rich, a blogger/vlogger at Costa Rica Rich, involved in cruelty-free beauty, vegan fashions, eco-models & creatives. She has her own YouTube Channel, and they have five adorable children. Now, you ask yourself, “how can a young, hectic entrepreneurial couple have time to raise five kids”? I don’t know how they do it, but obviously, they’re doing a fantastic job,
Many expats and locals were recently invited to the Rich home to celebrate Prince’s 40th birthday in Sarchi, Costa Rica. The family recently moved into their brand-new custom-built-home and gave us a first look at this fantastic property.
We gathered on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and feasted on baked vegetarian macaroni, baked rice, broccoli, BBQ pork, cream of potato soup, turkey hamburgers, corn, my wife’s Filipino beef lumpia, and an assortment of cheeses, crackers, olives, grapes, and drinks.
Later during the day, the Costa Rican rains began to make an appearance and just wanted to remind us that we’re still in the rainy season, but a little rain in Costa Rica never stops a good party.
