During the Easter weekend, Tezzy and I decided to take a three-day holiday in La Fortuna, where we’d planned ongoing for quite some time. One main reason that I wanted to go besides bathing in the natural hot springs and seeing the Arenal Volcano was to meet Michael Alan and D’Angelo of Travel Costa Rica Now, whom I’ve followed even before moving to Costa Rica. So, a week before going to La Fortuna, I contacted Michael via email and requested to have a meetup over coffee or breakfast. He was, in fact, available, and we met that Monday, a day before we were going back to Grecia, at his favorite Rainforest Café.
As we enjoyed a delicious meal, we discussed many things, and of course, Blaxit Radio came up during the conversation. Michael requested that he wanted to interview us along with Devon Austin, the General Manager of Blaxit Radio. At first, I was a little reluctant because I sometimes felt uneasy and apprehensive during an interview. However, Tezzy was all for it, so we planned to have Michael and D’Angelo come to Grecia and stay overnight at La Terraza Guest House B&B and conduct the interviews there because La Terraza is a beautiful, peaceful place in Grecia.
We did the interviews on Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15. It was a fun-filled experience chatting with Michael and D’Angelo. Charles Owens, the owner of La Terraza, had his staff prepare a delicious buffet of BBQ chicken, pasta, and bamboo shoot pickles.
